Post a weekly calendar and cross off each day at breakfast. Ask what day it is, what comes tomorrow and what was yesterday. Sing or chant the days in order, then start from a different day, such as Thursday. Link each day to a regular activity like swimming on Saturday. When your child can say the day before and after any day without reciting from Sunday, you are ready for the months.
